About this site
I'm a consultant ophthalmologist working on ways to make vision measurement cheaper, faster and more available — particularly where the patient can't read a chart. These prototypes are the working output of that: each one is a browser application that runs entirely on the device in front of the patient, using the screen and camera already there.
Several are being developed under a quality management system as Software as a Medical Device. None of them is a certified medical device today, and none should be used to make a clinical decision on its own.
