Ocular Motility needs the wide layout for eye movement testing.

OCULAR MOTILITY

Eye Movement Recording & Observation - v0.0.3

Welcome to Ocular Motility

Face the camera and follow the on-screen distance readout until it shows "Ready". Keep your head as still as possible. When prompted, describe your vision clearly as "single" or "double".

Media files will be saved to a location you choose.

Settings

Adds a bright white border around the screen during recording to illuminate your face, similar to a selfie light. Helps in dimly-lit rooms. Default: on.

Choose a capture mode based on the clinical task

General motility recording

Higher resolution captures more detail at the cost of file size and CPU. Auto follows the profile default. Slow-Mo may drop below 4K on most devices.

Smart Crop

Follow the patient's face for better framing

Distance Indicator

Show estimated viewing distance

Head-Still Gate

Pause captures until head returns to start position; corrections cut from review

Torsion Bar Target

Horizontal bar fixation target β€” reveals tilted (torsional) double vision

Adjusts eye-spacing estimate for accurate distance

Camera lenses differ (iPads especially) β€” distance can read badly wrong on a new device. Sit exactly 40 cm from the camera (use a tape measure), face it, then tap.

During tests, a target appears on screen for you to look at. Because your camera is not at screen centre, the target can be shifted toward the camera so your gaze appears more natural in the recording. Tap below to set where your camera is.
